ok, step 1: put object under bright lighting (if you can.)
step 2: now turn off flash (it messes up the picture.) and push the macro button, which is the button that looks like a flower.
step 3: ok now take the picture and look. nice, eh? (sry im canadian.) sometimes it doesn't work out and turns out fuzzy but try again a couple times.
